We cleared and leveled the 2 garden
spaces, but firstly, we created nursery beds on the perimeter of the
new road where we planted as many endemic aloes, bulbs, wild veld
flowers, shrubs and groundcovers on the sites. We used mostly materials
found on-site such as the rocks, and replanted with plants from the
nursery beds & selectively gathered from the expansive veld that
is to be developed in the near future. We also seeded the open beds
with endemic grass seeds.
There were many mature clumps of Agapanthus praecox and Dietes
grandiflora which were divided and distributed throughout the
new spaces.
We are now on hold for a while until the client can place and install
all the necessary pieces into the garden after which we will come
in to finish things off. |
